Spectacular and rare 1931 FORSTER IV piano in Rio rosewood. The structure has been completely restored (windchest, pegs and strings, gilded frame, new table varnish, bridge soles...). The keyboard mechanism has been completely refurbished (hammers, bridges, mortises, gallery...). The ivory has been rewhitened. The touch is firm without being hard or mushy, the timbre evokes romantic music; the treble is rich and luminous, without being flashy. the instrument is worthy of the reputation of this mythical brand, which we have had the honor of distributing new for over a decade.
