Descripción
We present an exceptional musical instrument - a rare GAVEAU N°5 concert piano, with serial number 77710, produced in 1925. It is one of only 150 pieces that were made between 1909 and 1969, making it an extremely rare and sought-after instrument among collectors and music lovers (source: "La Maison GAVEAU" by René BEAUPAIN, L'Harmattan editions). This exceptional piano was acquired at the renowned BALLERON salon in PARIS in 2009, adding even more historical and cultural value.
The instrument underwent a complete restoration in 2010, during which a series of specialized works were carried out, such as re-stringing, re-recording (mechanism renewal), re-lacquering, and other necessary conservation treatments. Thanks to these meticulous restoration works, the piano regained its original luster and excellent acoustic properties, while preserving all the distinctive features that set GAVEAU instruments apart.
Since its restoration in 2010, the piano has been very rarely used, which further emphasizes its excellent state of preservation. The instrument is available for viewing in REIMS (Marne department), offering a unique opportunity for all interested parties to personally experience this exceptional musical artwork.
Moreover, the piano is distinguished by its elegant black color and high gloss polyester finish. This finish not only gives the instrument a refined appearance but also provides additional protection against damage and scratches, essential for preserving its aesthetic and functional value for many years.
The ease of transport of the instrument, located on the ground floor, is an additional advantage, facilitating its potential movement or transport to a new location. This feature is particularly important for potential buyers who plan to integrate this exceptional piano into their collection or musical space.
We encourage all interested buyers, collectors, and music enthusiasts to personally experience the incomparable sound quality and beauty of this rare GAVEAU N°5 piano. It is a unique opportunity to become part of music history, owning an instrument that stands as a testament to the highest quality musical craftsmanship.
