5-year warranty



Warranty

We grant a 5-year warranty for your instrument against proven defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty applies only to the first purchaser and includes free replacement of materials and labor to remedy proven defects. Adjustment and maintenance work are not part of the warranty.

Proper handling of the instrument is required.

Wood and felt react sensitively to temperature influences and changes in air humidity, which can be particularly controlled and regulated during the heating period with good humidifiers. A relative humidity between 45% and 60% with a room temperature of around 20° Celsius is most favourable for your instrument.

Sudden temperature fluctuations should be avoided.

Exclusion from warranty

There is no claim under the warranty for damage to materials and instrument parts that was caused by

1. improper handling by the buyer or third parties, stress and wear, accidents, theft, vandalism, fire, water or other hazards

2. extreme temperatures, humidity, dust or the like

3. improper or negligent use, repair or maintenance of the instrument by technicians or other persons not authorised by Klaviersalon Berlin

4. furthermore, there is no warranty for use outdoors. Damages, scratches or irregularities on the cabinet surface are also not covered by the warranty.
