This is one of the highest quality restorations on a steinway grand piano you can get. This one was restored in europe this year, and just arrived in our showroom.
Pictures simply do not do this piano justice. This piano was rebuilt by one of europe's best steinway restoration facilities. This piano is immaculate. I have been in this industry 28 years, and there are only 3 to 4 companies that i have seen in the world who are able to do a restoration this meticulous and thorough. Every inch of this piano is perfect. The soundboard is original, which maintains the sound integrity of this 1911 model a, but it looks new. The bridge caps are new. All the hardware is new. (not the old brass just polished out, but it is new!) the piano even has the inlaid decal on the fallboard and side of the piano. Yes, it's new as well! The pedal lyre has the modern era lyre support set-up. Just like the new steinway grands. The action has new german steinway parts. (renner hammers, shanks, flanges, repetitions) the finish is from german basf polyester resins, which are the finest in the world. It looks, feels, plays, and even smells new! Yet, this is a steinway from the heart of steinway's "Golden age" of piano manufacturing. Most steinway enthusiasts revere these pianos to be far better than any of the new products steinway currently produces. Plus, this piano has been meticulously regulated, prepped, voiced, and tuned to a-440 concert pitch. It needs nothing but a concert level pianist at the helm.
We will deliver this piano free of charge, to any first level home in the lower 48 united states without major stairs. We also provide your first tuning free of charge. This piano comes with a 5 year warranty, just like the new steinway grands. If sound, touch, appearance, and playability matter to you, then you need to come play this instrument!
