For its construction we use real Venetian veneer from the ancient underground piles upon which Venice is built. The various shades of the wood, with its cracks, give the bevelling the rustic quality of this city on the water, also present in its symbol - the gondolas ploughing century after century through the waters of the Bay of Venice. The oak piles have endured the extreme conditions of Venice’s subterranean depths and now they emerge on the surface in their most elegant form - as part of a PETROF piano.
