Description
I am offering an Emil Pauer baby grand piano, crafted around 1910 and purchased by my parents at the renowned Harrods department store in London in the 1980s. This instrument features a beautiful honey-colored wood finish with a transparent, satin lacquer, giving it an elegant, classic look. The piano is in excellent visual condition but hasn’t been played in some time and would benefit from tuning and servicing. It has 85 keys and 2 pedals, providing a full, rich sound using English mechanics.
Originally from Berlin, Emil Pauer built pianos in England and is a brand with a rich tradition, known for the exceptional sound quality and craftsmanship of its instruments. Pauer pianos are highly valued in Europe for their precision and warm, harmonious tones, making them a popular choice among classical music lovers and professional musicians alike.
According to the technical review carried out by Piano Fuchs in Salzburg on 3rd July 2025, the service work required to restore smooth functionality would amount to around 15 hours / 1500 euros. There are no technical defects requiring outright repair. This information may be verified by calling Piano Fuchs.
Please note that transportation costs are the responsibility of the buyer. This is a unique opportunity to own a historic and elegant instrument that can serve as both a beautiful addition to your home and a lasting source of musical inspiration.
