Description
This is a fine Erard Parallélle right-handed grand piano. A unique opportunity to own an excellently restored specimen! The sound is authentic, pure and beautifully pure.
The Erard grand piano was built in 1923 in France, Paris. in this period Paris had 3 major piano builders: Gaveau, Pleyel and Erard. In the 1950s and 1960s, Erard merged with Gaveau and Pleyel.
The Erard grand piano comes from a private collection of a private individual in the Paris area. The grand piano was imported to the Netherlands several years ago. On behalf of the previous owners, the grand piano has been professionally restored in the Netherlands.
The grand piano is solidly built. The beam construction is typical Erard, solidly strong. This will have contributed to the particularly good condition of the acoustic construction. The soundboard, for example - the soul of the piano - is still original and has survived the test of time intact.
The restoration was carried out using only the best materials:
- New high quality bass strings, tuning pegs and Stéphen Paulello steel strings
- Strong and tuning block with new tuning pins
- Top bridge renewed and fitted with new bridge pins
- Original top hammers re-felted by Desfougéres in France
- New Erard roulettes
- Beautiful ivory and ebony keys.
Cabinetwork beautifully veneered with the noble rosewood. On the inside with beautiful "bird's eye" maple.
The Erard, also called the Steinway of the 19th century. And you can hear it! The grand piano is also suitable for professional use.
We cordially invite you to try this beautiful Erard grand piano in our workshop.
