The W.Hoffmann 206 Professional is almost a concert piano. As with all models in the range, the various settings and voicing are entrusted to concert technicians. The mechanics, with their non-slip keys and optimized lever ratios according to a procedure designed by C. Bechstein, allow for the smooth playing necessary for professional use.

This grand piano - the largest of the W.Hoffmann Professional series - can also be equipped with the optional Bechstein Vario Mute. This digital device allows you to play at any time of the day or night without disturbing anyone and without the touch of the instrument being altered in any way: the hammer heads are intercepted before they hit the strings, the notes are then digitized by sensors and reproduced using samples recorded on a concert grand piano. When connected to a tablet or laptop, the Bechstein Vario digital mute also allows you to accompany recordings made by yourself or others on the piano.
