The III Millennium action is simply understood as a the revolutionary Millennium III Advanced Piano Action.
This is Kawai’s third evolution of piano action and touch. It combines the science of modern materials with innovative new design concepts.
Kawai has developed a mechanism with a subtle touch. We invite you to experience the great dynamics of the III Millennium action.
This action and mechanism uses components made from ABS – carbon, a new composite material and created by the carbon infusion into our existing Styran ABS. ABS – Carbon is incredibly tough and rigid, allowing us to make many parts of this lighter mechanism without sacrificing strength.
The lightweight design makes this type of action tremendously fast and easy for the pianist. The repetition and response are excellent.
