The famous Rippen aluminum grand piano. The only grand piano in the world with this special design. These grand pianos are extremely rare as relatively few have been made. This is a completely restored example.
This grand piano is special, not only because of the remarkable design, but also the technical side. Normally the frame of a grand piano is made of cast iron and the case of wood. However with this grand piano, the exterior and frame are formed together from one cast piece of aluminum. The aluminum is painted metallic gold and all wooden parts are new black high gloss.
