Schimmel Royal Wood C169. For our Schimmel Royal Wood C 169 grand piano series, we have selected only the best: exotic woods with a special character. These woods must be crafted with great care and the highest craftsmanship in veneering technique.
This has always been an integral part of Schimmel's craftsmanship tradition and is a guarantee for the accomplished, attractive, and durable casing of our grand and upright pianos.
A piano is more than an instrument:
It may even be called a synthesis of the arts. This is confirmed, for example, by the valuable and endless variety of exotic woods, with their inexhaustible wealth of colors used in Schimmel instrument construction.
We take environmental protection very seriously in all models of the Royal Wood series. Therefore, we use wood as a renewable raw material under strict personal inspections from our wood suppliers.
Construction process:
Veneer is particularly suitable for processing in a resource-saving manner, as several thousand square meters of veneer can be produced from one tree trunk.
As a natural product, wood has color differences and irregularities related to growth.
The color, structure, and grain of each tree are unique and make each instrument special!
"Quality will prevail"
This was Wilhelm Schimmel's philosophy when he founded the company in 1885. To this day, nothing has changed in this regard, and this motto determines our way of thinking, acting, and approaching piano construction. Through traditional craftsmanship on one hand and innovative ideas on the other, we create lasting-value grand and upright pianos that inspire every day anew.
