Description
Although still made in Hamburg, Model C Steinways that were made in the U.S. are extraordinarily rare. The Model C was made in New York from 1869 until 1936. Perfect for venues requiring the power and clarity of a Model D but a slightly smaller footprint. This particular piano features an ivory keyboard, original carved note rack, and distinctive Victorian “flower pot” legs. Given the Model C’s scarcity it is not only a superb instrument, but also a sound investment.

We recommend that this soundboard be replaced with a hand-crafted sitka spruce soundboard from Northwest Specialty Woods.
