Description
We have for sale a used Steinway & Sons D-274 master piano, manufactured in Hamburg in 1967. The pianos from the 1950s and 1960s are considered by many experts to be the most successful Steinway instruments. The instrument has been renovated in case and mechanism. The excellently maintained acoustic condition meant that it did not need any renovation of the soundboard, bridges and ribs, thus retaining the long beautiful deep sound and tone of instruments from that period of production. The restoration was done according to the art of Steinway & Sons restoration, the correction and intonation done by technicians with appropriate Steinway training and certification.
