This Steinway Piano Grand Model D Ebonized, was shipped from Hamburg to Copenhagen on 7th of March 1939. It is a very rare example and has been in the same private home for decades. The color is black matte.
Several of the world leading pianists has practiced on this piano. Emil Gilels, Sviatoslav Richter, Alfred Brendel, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Daniel Barenboim and many others.
The condition is very good, it sounds amazing. The hammerheads are a little worn. This doesn’t affect the wonderful sound of the piano.
This beautiful Steinway concert instrument is a fantastic example of Steinway’s finest model and their legendary craftsmanship.
The concert instrument provides a fantastic opportunity for professional musicians, churches, music halls, academies alike.
