Description
A very rare Steinway & Sons grand piano. This model "Centennial" is quite unknown, but the predecessor of the current D model. This model was made by Steinway for only two years and was the first concert grand piano Steinway ever made. This version was made for the World Expo in Philadelphia, America. One of the few examples ever made, a true museum piece. Executed in solid oak polished with ebony inlays on the sides and ornate carvings. Special about this grand piano is that the cabinet was made in Leeds, England and the grand piano itself in New York. The keys still have the original ivory keytops. There is a CITES declaration for this.
