There are moments when the sound of an acoustic piano should not be appreciated by your family or neighbors.

For these situations, you just have to activate the TransAcoustic function, and the hammers will no longer strike the strings. Sensors located under each key detect the depth of each press, its speed, and the moment it occurs, sending this information to the tone generator.

We can adjust the volume and tailor it to our needs. There is no need for headphones or external amplification.

Allows for headphone study sessions. TransAcoustic pianos also feature a binaural sample of the Yamaha CFX concert piano, recorded using special techniques to perfectly capture the sound from the pianist’s natural playing position.

The TransAcoustic piano offers 19 additional sounds, allowing you to select the perfect voice to match the musical genre you are performing. It includes digital pianos, harpsichords, vibraphones, pipe or jazz organs, strings, choirs, and synthesizers.

Use:
The TransAcoustic is perfect for use in jazz clubs, hotels, restaurants, churches, almost anywhere you can imagine. All voices are emitted through the soundboard. Therefore, playing a TransAcoustic piano is a unique experience.

Construction:
Thanks to its unique construction, TransAcoustic pianos allow you to overlay the natural sound of the acoustic piano with the tones generated. You can achieve spectacular sounds, for example, by selecting orchestral strings as a background for the acoustic piano or mixing the digitized sound of the CFX concert piano with the instrument’s natural sound to achieve an even more powerful new piano sound.
