The Steinway & Sons grand piano, model O, serial number 190130, manufactured in 1918, is a true musical gem. This dawing room grand piano stands out not only for its build quality, but also for its excellent sound and exceptional finish, as can be seen in the photos. Its body is finished in high gloss polyester, which gives it a luxurious, elegant look. The colour of the piano is a deep black, which adds even more class. The rest of the veneer looks like a limited edition.
The case has been restored, the acoustics, mechanism and keyboard have been refurbished using original Steinway & Sons brand parts. This ensures that this instrument retains its authenticity and the excellent sound it gained during its manufacturing days. The restoration has been carried out by experienced restorers with over 30 years' experience, ensuring the highest quality workmanship.
This Steinway O piano is fitted with new Heller bass strings and Röslau steel strings. The pinblock has been replaced with a new maple pinblock from Bolduc, which contributes to the precise tuning of the instrument and the maintenance of a perfect tone.
