The W.Hoffmann 120 Professional piano can be equipped with the Bechstein Vario digital mute. This optional device allows you to play at any time of the day or night without disturbing anyone else and without altering the touch in any way. The Bechstein Vario mute intercepts the hammer heads before they hit the strings, converts the notes into digital impulses with the help of sensors, and plays them back through headphones using samples recorded on a concert grand piano.
