Description
The exotic bubinga is a hard and heavy wood that grows chiefly in West Africa — Cameroon, Gabon and the Ivory Coast. Because of its striking pinkish-red, almost burgundy and purple colour, it is often classed as an African rosewood (Dalbergia). After drying, the bubinga is very solid and has a beautiful appearance, which we polish to a high gloss. The most beautiful veneers are known as Kevasingo and their typical feature is their rich grain. In combination with the black high gloss of the P 125 M1, the bubinga is as captivating as the tone that emanates from this artistic instrument.
