This model is the most widely used upright piano in conservatories and music academies. It belongs to the so-called "golden age" of Yamaha pianos (1975-1995). The longer strings, wider soundboard and thicker felts under the hammers give it a full, deep, bright but non-metallic treble sound, very similar to that of European pianos. An increased bar size contributes to the piano's high tuning stability . My son used this piano moderately for 10 years during his apprenticeship. It has all its original parts and few signs of wear. It has always been very well cared for and maintained. It is capable of supporting the study of any pianist for decades to come almost like a new piano. The adjustable bench is included in the price. It is sold cause departure abroad.
