The Schimmel company was founded by Wilhelm Schimmel on May 2, 1885 in Leipzig. They soon became the instruments used by the royal house of Romania. Today the company has entered into a commercial alliance with the Chinese Pearl River, leader in the world of modern pianos, but has maintained production in Europe.

The Schimmel piano model 208, serial number 295.195, glossy black is in perfect condition.
