This model Yamaha U1 piano was built from 1959 to 1965. These somewhat older models tend to have a softer, warmer sound compared to the younger ones
The Yamaha U1D originally have only 2 pedals, but in our restorations we add the 3rd (moderator) pedal to all of them. Recognizable by the curves on the top cover.
Our refurbished Yamaha pianos & grand pianos are like new instruments again. Both the interior and exterior have been refurbished.
The cabinetwork has been painted with polyester high-gloss lacquer, the key tops have been replaced, the soundboard has new lacquer, and even the inside is in new condition. Partly because of this, we give another 10-year warranty on these instruments.
