For sale: German Sauter R2 upright piano, 120 cm, serial number 96972 (production year 1991, very rare for its recent age), white with Renner R2 mechanism and Sauter patent to mimic the double escapement of a grand piano and increase the speed of the hammers.
This is a "tropicalized" model built with special materials to withstand temperature and humidity fluctuations.
The piano has just been tuned and adjusted by the tuner and is in perfect sonic and mechanical condition.
The Sauter brand is the oldest active piano factory in Europe, producing pianos since 1819 in Spaichingen, near the Black Forest. It is known among experts for its rich, harmonic European sound, the quality of its artisanal manufacturing, and innovations such as the R2 patent on uprights to mimic the double escapement of a grand piano and increase the repetition speed.
