This model Yamaha U1 piano was built from 1959 to 1965. These older models usually have a softer, warmer sound compared to the younger ones.


The Yamaha U1D originally has only 2 pedals, however in our restorations the 3rd (moderator) pedal is added to all examples. Recognizable by the curves on the top cover.

Our restored Yamaha pianos & grand pianos are like new instruments again. Both the inside and outside have been overhauled.
The case has been sprayed with polyester high gloss lacquer, the key coverings have been replaced, the soundboard has new lacquer, and even the inside is in new condition. Partly because of this we give a 5 year warranty on these instruments.
