The history of the Samick brand
Samick, or actually Samick Musical Instruments Co. Ltd., as the music manufacturer is currently called, was founded in 1958 in South Korea. Its founder was Lee Hyo-Ik, who initially decided to focus solely on piano manufacturing. Over time, however, Samick expanded its offers. He also took on the creation of a variety of musical instruments, including digital pianos or guitars. This proved to be an excellent business move, as the brand is currently recognized worldwide. Its subsidiaries are located not only in Asia, but also in North America and Europe. It sells brands such as Knabe, Kohler & Campbell, Seiler and Pramberger, among others.
